Gas indirect water/glycol bath heaters

Description

Gas indirect water/glycol bath heaters by Pietro Fiorentini have a wide variety of successful applications in oil & gas production, processing and transportation industry.
Some of the most common applications include:

  • gas dew point heating to prevent condensation phenomena due to the Joule-Thomson effect;
  • heating of high-pressure natural gas pressure regulation or fuel gas super-heating for upstream gas turbines, to prevent external icing formation;
  • gas heating for downstream low temperature storages;
  • viscosity reduction, to facilitate degassing and dewatering of crude oil heating upstream treatments.

These devices can be realized with forced draft and natural draft, with coils as per API 12K or with U tube bundles, with a highly variable duty ranging from 90 kW up to 12.5 MW.
