BIOMETHANE: Pietro Fiorentini provides integrated solutions for every type of plant, from direct biomethane injection into the transport or distribution network, to solutions for liquid biomethane. Besides, thanks to Pietro Fiorentini’s biogas upgrading solutions, contaminants and inert substances that lower calorific value are eliminated from the biogas, transforming it into biomethane.
CATHODIC PROTECTION: Our new S2B (Service to Business) platform for the management and monitoring of data from field data loggers, such as Next, the multi-channel data logger for DC and AC measurements, or Kairos, the data logger with 4G/LTE or CAT-M network technology (with a switch to 2G/GPRS).
HYDROGEN: Pietro Fiorentini has launched a wide range of 100% hydrogen products, both for valves, meters, regulators and the hydrogen electrolyser by Hyter, that uses the advanced AEMWE technology (Anion Exchange Membrane Water Electrolysis) to produce high-purity hydrogen in a sustainable way. On the other hand, the need for large-scale use of hydrogen has inspired us to develop new hydrogen blending stations.
POWER-TO-GAS: A biotechnology company of the Pietro Fiorentini Group, MicroPyros BioEnerTec, is one of only three companies in the world capable of applying organic methanisation to industrial processes. It is one of the most promising sources related to the conversion of energy into gas (Power-to-gas).
SMART GAS GRIDS: TAMM by TERRANOVA, a multiservice software system designed to automate the processes of remote metering and remote management of Gas, Electricity and Water meters in a smart metering scenario, with Narrow Band Internet of Things technology (NBIoT), the most promising communication technology for utility metering.
WATER: The new SSM-AQUO are ultrasonic water meters designed for the residential sector. They use a static measurement technology, that does not feature moving parts subject to wear, and guarantee high precision even managing to measure very low flow rates and any plant leakage, together with other anomalies such as a broken pipe, no consumption or an inverted flow.
