Remembering Jordi Presas, founder of CONTAGAS e Honorary Chairman of Pietro Fiorentini Iberia
26 October 2022 - CorporateIt is with great mourning that we inform you of the heartfelt passing of Jordi Presas, founder of CONTAGAS and Honorary Chairman of Pietro Fiorentini Iberia.
For almost 60 years, he played a fundamental role in shaping the Spanish gas network infrastructure. CONTAGAS, the company he founded in 1976, has been Pietro Fiorentini longest-standing distributor and contributed decisively to consolidate our leadership in the Iberian Peninsula, thanks to a prompt and efficient delivery system that has always provided customers with the highest level of service.
Jordi passed away a few days ago at the age of 79. Despite his well-deserved retirement, he continued to work every day with the same enthusiasm that always distinguished his entire career.
